Doors That Let Light Into Your World
Summer is the season of brightness, or at least it should be, but you never quite know what the weather will do in this country.
When the sun does decide to make an appearance the vibrant sunlight you feel all around you outside should also be to force its way into your home.
Your windows will help drive in the sun and your doors should do the same too. When there’s a shortage of light indoors, the fitting of a predominantly glazed door at the front or rear of your property will give your interior a bright boost.
Let there be light!
We have UPVC and composite doors containing arched or square shaped glass that account for virtually half of their design. Utilising plain or modestly decorated glass in these examples will illuminate your hallway and ensure it’s warm in winter.
Create further light in the home by adding bi-folding doors, French doors or patio doors to your residence. Bi-folding doors are particularly effective at drawing in external light.
The brilliance of bi-folds
Crafted from aluminium, our bi-folding doors have immensely slender frames which allow us to maximise the area of glass. By favouring glass over frame, it means that an abundance of light can pass through them when they’re securely fastened.
The little bit of framework included in a bi-folding door and the glass that sits within it can virtually be completely eliminated by folding the leafs that make up the door across the track until they concertina at one end. This will create a vast opening and expose your living quarters to the environment outside so that it gets flooded with light.
